What's New at The Enclave
COUPLE CALLS ENCLAVE AT THE FAIRWAYS WEEKEND RETREAT
The Kokes Organization, builders of communities for those 55-and-over throughout Ocean County has announced that all eight home styles offered at The Enclave at The Fairways, a Lake Ridge community of 349 homes, are attracting buyers that span the entire spectrum of active adults reported Jan Kokes, president of The Kokes Organization.
According to Kokes, residents include active singles and couples, and many who continue to work both full and part time. Among them are Tom and Ellen Gatti who maintain an apartment in Manhattan and spend weekends at The Enclave in their three bedroom, three bath home.
Tom explained that following a highly successful career in the broadcasting industry, he decided to retire. “My wife, on the other hand, loves her job with a merger and acquisition firm based in Manhattan. As a result, we decided to split our home lives between the city and The Enclave,” he said. “We particularly enjoy the social atmosphere here. We made friends very quickly,” Tom noted and added, “We researched a number of gated active adult communities both in New Jersey and in other states. We ultimately decided to locate to a community close to Ellen’s family who reside in Toms River.”
The Gatti’s made quite clear that the final community selection was based on a variety of criteria. “We found the home styles to be very appealing, the recreation amenities extensive including the nearby Eagle Ridge golf club,” he said. “We also spoke with many current residents who openly praised the community, many of whom have become good friends.”
Tom also liked the fact that The Kokes Organization is a family business as opposed to a large corporate home building giant. “The sales counselors here, as well as the construction supervisor, and especially Jan and Jerry Kokes are all wonderful and made the entire home buying process very smooth.”
Jerry Kokes pointed out that buyers are pleased with the company’s Peace of Mind program which has benefited hundreds of Kokes community buyers. “This program is designed to lock in today’s pricing and assist buyers who have concerns about selling their existing house in order to purchase a new home at one of our Lake Ridge communities. If after six months the Lake Ridge buyer’s house doesn't sell, their deposit will be refunded in full without a penalty of any kind.”
Danielle Kokes, vice president of sales, said that in addition to the Peace of Mind program, buyers are impressed by the upgraded kitchen items which were previously charged as options. “Now, at no extra charge, all homes come fully equipped with deluxe General Electric stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops with a choice of edging, ceramic tile flooring, and 42-inch Aristokraft kitchen cabinetry in a choice of ten finishes with three door styles.
Kokes emphasized that the Kokes family’s half century of experience of building homes has again resulted in another successful community. “We’re in our final phase, and have saved the very best homesites for last.” She said many of the available home sites feature private wooded back yards, and are within walking distance of the community’s clubhouse which boasts a heated indoor pool.
