 For 40 years, The Kokes Family has built exciting, award-winning communities for active adults 55 and over. This well-established tradition of home building has gained the respect of over 22,000 home buyers as well as community officials, and the National Association of Home Builders.
The Kokes Commitment began in 1964 with the construction of beautiful custom homes. Following that success the Family created a new home community in Jackson, New Jersey.
Later, the Family's attention changed focus to concentrate on enjoyable and carefree retirement living. As a result, The Kokes created Crestwood Village -- a full-service adult community of nearly 9,000 homes, two shopping centers, a transportation network, seven clubhouses, recreational activities, and private utility services.
Today, The Kokes Family maintains a solid presence by building quality homes and lifestyles for the young-at-heart. The original Lake Ridge introduced in 1994 marked the Kokes Family’s eleventh entry into the active adult home market.
The incredible success of Lake Ridge led the Kokes Family to begin development in 1997 of The Fairways at Lake Ridge-- Ocean County's first active adult community built adjacent to an 18-hole golf course and club. Consisting of over 1100 new homes The Fairways sold out in three years compared to a projected 10 years – an incredible accomplishment.
